This is an opportunity for you to deeply understand this beautiful location, learn of important gathering places, as well as bush tucker in the area. Additionally, you’ll also hear the breath-taking story of the creation of the local Butchulla people first hand!
Djinang Cultural Walking Tour departs Great Sandy Straits Marina at 8:30 am and returns at 10:00 am. Tour price is $35 per adult and $25 per child and only runs on selected days.

From Brisbane, you can arrive at the departure point via M1 and Bruce Highway.
There are bus services from Brisbane going to Hervey Bay. You can catch the bus departing from Parkland Crescent which is accessible via Parkland Boulevard. The bus will arrive at Hervey Bay Transit Centre. The travel time takes about 6 hours.
Airlines such as Qantas and Virgin Australia operate flights going to Hervey Bay if you are from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Mackay.
