Witness the wonders of Kakadu, Arnhem Land and the Cobourg Peninsula on this unique and adventurous 5 day tour in Northern Australia!

Take part in a journey that spans for five days in Northern Territory. Step foot in different locations, make memories and embark on an adventure you’ll never forget. The tour itinerary is as follows:

Day 1: Around 6:45 am to 7:00 am, you will depart for Kakadu National Park and join a morning cruise on the picturesque Corroboree Billabong. Your first day will be composed of a Corroboree Billabong Cruise where you can observe crocodiles and birds, and a stop by White Lily Billabong before you arrive at Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). A 1km walk will then follow until you reach the base of Barramundi Falls. This is where you’ll have the opportunity to swim, snorkel and discover aquatic life. You’ll depart Maguk late in the afternoon for Nawurlandja Lookout to view the sunset. Anbinik Kakadu Resort’s bush bungalow will be your accommodation for the night.

Day 2: On your second day, you will travel to Arnhem Land and have a scenic drive to Gunbalanya Aboriginal community. Upon arriving at Gunbalanya, you will visit Injalak Aboriginal Arts and Craft Centre. Your morning will be spent on an Indigenous guided rock-art tour before you venture into Cobourg Peninsula. You’ll stay at Cobourg Coastal Camp for the night which will also serve as your place to stay in until the last night of the tour.

Day 3: The morning will be spent on a Marine Park Cruise. Here, you’ll discover some amazing marine life in Cobourg. This will be followed by a stop at the Victoria Settlement ruins, a site that represents the failed settlement in Northern Australia. You will then return to camp in the afternoon where you can fish or simply relax.

Day 4: The eastern side of the Park will be explored by 4WD. The tour then continues with a visit to the northern beaches and the exploration of marine life. At lunch, you will have the opportunity to hunt for mud crabs using the Aboriginal traditional methods. The Park’s Cultural and Information Centre will be visited before proceeding back towards camp.

Day 5: You will depart Cobourg early and have your lunch in the banks of East Alligator River. This is then followed by a visit to Ubirr Rock where you can enjoy a scenic walk. As you depart Ubirr, making your way back to Darwin, there will be a stop at Mamukala Wetlands. After the tour, you will arrive in Darwin at approximately 7:00 pm.

Tour price is $3,590 per person (on a twin-share basis) and $2,990 for children ages 6-14yrs.
