This tour is a combination of the Tjapukai Day and Night Fire Tour with Dinner and Show. This experience takes place in the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, located in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland. Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park provides easy access to experience the rich and authentic Aboriginal culture that dates back over 40,000 years. The venue is about 20 minutes drive north of Cairns, and about 45 minutes from Port Douglas.

The day tour consists of interactive and exciting activities that will give you insight on the local Aboriginal culture. This package includes any Tjapukai Day Package with all General Admission inclusions and Tjapukai’s signature Night Fire package.

The tour runs both weekdays and weekends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The general tour price is $185 per person and only $117 for children ages 4 to 14. We also offer a family package at $487 that is good for two adults and two children.

  • Tjapukai reserves the right to make changes to schedules due to inclement weather or to change any component of the entry without notice.
  • Note that there is a break between Tjapukai day and night activities. Day activity closes 5:00 P.M. and reopens for Night Fire at 7:00 P.M. Guests are more than welcome to stay and have a drink at the bar or relax on the grounds.

Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is located approximately 12 km north of Cairns and about 50 km south of Port Douglas.

By Self-drive

From Cairns, you can reach your destination via National Route 1. 
From Port Douglas, the park can be accessible via Captain Cook Hwy / State Route 44.

By Bus

Catch a bus operated by Translink Route 123 from the Cairns City Place Bus Stop and returns from Tjapukai Bus Stop. 

By Taxi

You can take a taxi with Cairns Taxis. It will take you directly to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in approximately 12 minutes. The estimated cost range is $55 - $70.
